On May 15, #Nigeria and #Morocco strengthened their business relationship by signing two bilateral agreements in Rabat, Morocco. Both projects were initiated during the Royal visit of the king of Morocco--Mohammed VI--to Nigeria in December, 2016. TaggedThe Wonder of Africa’ the pipeline project has historical significance because it is designed by ‘Africans for Africans’ with a direct impact on 300 million people through the speeding up of electrification projects in West Africa; thus serving a basis for the creation of a competitive electricity regional market. The second bilatéral agreement was on the Second Phase of the Fertiliser Initiative. Morocco's supply of phosphate led to the resuscitation of 11 blending plants which produced about 1.3 million tonnes of fertiliser, creating of 50,000 (direct) and 150,000 (indirect). The Minister of Foreign Affairs ,Mr Godfrey Onyeama, led the Nigerian delegation.

A splendid and unforgettable company event attended by some 1,400 partners and guests was held this month in Lagos, Nigeria. Among guests of honor were the company’s top leaders, stars of show business, politicians, bankers, a Nigerian senator and special guests from Mexico and Russia. The conference was held for two days at a prestigious Balmoral Convention Center on Victoria Island in Lagos. The first day was dedicated to business training, as well as to speeches of leaders and motivational speakers. The second day was entirely dedicated to a celebration and a show program. Top-level show business stars, popular singers and presenters of Nigeria performed at the event. Among them were: Denrele-Edun, Dj / Band, Timi Dakolo, Small Doctor, Tuface. Their performances provided for a very positive mood and rhythm of the whole event. The celebration and the show program were accompanied by an award ceremony for leaders, during which their deserved awards were given out to them, as well as a raffle for Swissgolden gold bars. At the end of the enchanting show program there was an award ceremony for the three winners of the Mercedes Benz campaign. The main highlight and an innovation during this conference was the fact that the organization and managing of much of the conference was taken up by our active Nigerian leaders.
